Materials: Made from our signature bio-stretch denim, there are no micro-plastics or any artificial threads in these jeans. Our stretch comes from 2% natural rubber sustainably sourced and farmed from the rubber tree, woven together with 98% regenerative cotton. The result is a 100% pure, 100% natural and 100% comfortable pair of jeans.

This is the denim industry's first truly sustainable grey denim which is achieved by using a sulfur-based dye. For the dye to stick to the fabric, a fixing agent is required. Chitosan, a polymer that is derived by recycling the exoskeleton of shrimp, is what is typically used but, because of our unwillingness to use animal products (hence our PETA status), we decided to try mushrooms in place of shrimp. It worked! After that we use ozone washing to get it to that perfect shade of grey.
